Broken Heart

I got an e-mail today from A. Lynn (my house mother in the Philippines) and she said that typhoon had hit the island and devastated where we were working. These pictures are heartbreaking. This is the town we worked in and where we made everlasting friendships. Some of our friends lost everything.

Fruit in a doughnut??!! WHAT??!!

This was the face when Gaven found out that his doughnut had apples in it. Heaven forbid that a pastry included fruit! He wouldn’t eat the rest of it because he said it was too healthy!

Labor Day Weekend!

For Labor Day weekend, Lisa’s mom called and asked me to come to the Poconos to surprise Lisa! We went camping with a bunch of people from her church. There was a beautiful waterfall and lots of card playing! It was a great weekend!
